I have a degree in psychology and psychotherapy training in postmodern therapies. In my practice I largely use the principles of narrative therapy. In narrative therapy, we focus on what is troubling the client, but also on what they would like to develop in their lives. In addition, I believe that narrative therapy asks questions that help to explore a problem from other perspectives, which is often helpful.
Professionally, I have worked in both the commercial sector and the non-profit world. In recent years, in addition to my therapeutic practice, I have worked in hospice care, where I have gained experience caring for clients experiencing prolonged grief. However, in my therapeutic practice I welcome and work with clients with other problems.
