Couples therapy
Couples therapy serves not only married couples, but also adult parent-child dyads or adult siblings who need help and support in dealing with relationship issues. It is usually led by one therapist, but you can request a two-therapist team.
Family therapy
Family therapy helps to address issues that affect multiple family members. It can often be more effective to engage the whole family in addressing the distress and symptoms of a problem that are particularly visible in a single family member (e.g., a child) rather than working only at the individual level. One therapist or a two-therapist team (depending on the capacity of the center) works with the family.
